HC49/4HSMX AUTO
Probably the most common automotive crystal package by virtue of its very competitive pricing is the HC49/4HSMX AUTO. Offering a wide frequency range of 3.0MHz to 100MHz, a number of standard frequencies are available including 6.0MHz, 14.31818MHz and 27.0MHz but we can manufacture to your specific requirements. As with all of our Automotive range, qualification is against AEC-Q200. Typical applications include Power Steering, Air bag controllers and Electronic suspension units. The HC49/4HSMX AUTO is available in both bulk and tape & reel packaging.
IQXC-180 AUTO
The IQXC-180 AUTO is housed in a 3.2x5mm ceramic package and has a standard operating temperature range of –40 to +125°C. With qualifications against AEC-Q200 this crystal has applications such a tyre pressure, monitoring receivers, entertainment systems and climate controls. Standard specification is for a stability of ±50ppm and a load condition of 8pF. It covers the frequency range of 12.0MHz to 48.0MHz. The IQXC-180 AUTO can be ordered in either bulk or tape & reel packaging.
IQXO-580 AUTO Series
The IQXO-580 AUTO is a 5x3.2mm packaged crystal clock oscillator suitable for a wide range of automotive applications. It is available over a extended frequency range from 1 to 100MHz with a HCMOS output. Stability can be specified as either ±50ppm or ±100ppm over the industry standard operating temperature range of –40 to +85°C along with a choice of either a 5V (IQXO-580 AUTO) or 3V (IQXO-581 AUTO) supply. Typical uses include rear view cameras, in car entertainment and controllers but you can decide! The series can be ordered in both bulk or tape and reel packaging. Full qualification data is available as required.

Quartz crystals are used in a wide range of automotive applications. The High Q factor of the quartz means that tight stabilities can be achieved; this is key to ensuring microprocessor timing circuits work correctly within customer’s designs.
IQD offers an extensive range of Automotive Quartz Crystals covering both surface mount and leaded devices that satisfy most applications; many devices are suitable for custom designs
IQD’s comprehensive range of Automotive Crystals are qualified to AEC-Q200 standard and can be released to TS16949 where required.

Crystal Clock Oscillators are a “plug and play” quartz crystal and are used in many automotive applications. Our range includes 5 x 3.2mm surface mount packages with 3.3V and 5.0V supply voltage options.
